I am an industrial engineer with more than 25 years of experience in research and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. I have worked in the development of maintenance plans for thermoelectric plants and control of electrical power systems.
With national and international oil companies, I have developed the management of supervision, control and maintenance of control and power systems in offshore oil barges, in addition to building electrical distribution and control systems for onshore drilling barges.
As a freelance data analyst and data scientist, I translate data into valuable and understandable information. My goal is to help companies improve their bottom line, make sound decisions and save costs.
I am experienced in using data visualization techniques to present results, relying on SQL, R, Python, SPSS, Excel, Tableau and PowerBI. For example, I have used Business Intelligence and Tableau techniques to create interactive dashboards that allow clients to examine trends and patterns in their data. And of course I leverage the potential of Artificial Intelligence.
I am also an experienced methodological consultant, with extensive experience in the design, collection and analysis of data through research and studies, quantitative or qualitative.

From the Universidad Politécnica Territorial del Estado Trujillo" UPTT, I carried out the Design and Creation of the "Management Model for Venezuelan Public Universities" based on the application of the Systems of Viable Models (MSV), which was adopted as organizational structure for them at national level by the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education (MPPEU) from 2017, as stated in the Official Gazette of the Ministry (MPPEUCT, 2017) No. 6321, and; the Design and Creation, as co-author together with other colleagues from Tecnológico de Ejido, Mérida State, of the "National Training Program for Risk Management and Disaster Management".
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
November 1999 - January 2000
For the company COMASELI CA, I carried out the "Barua-Motatán Deep Well Electrification Project", contracted by the state oil company PDVSA, which consisted in the construction of 34.5 Kv, SS/EE type H power lines and their respective connection of transformation and speed control equipment for electro-submersible pumps (BES), hydraulic and mechanical. With this project they were losing millions of dollars due to the lack of experience of their personnel for the management of this type of large projects, in addition to union, workers and community labor conflicts. So they needed to recover the viability of the project, and I had my experience in electrical power systems, the oil industry, personnel management, operations and logistics to do so. Once we analyzed the situation well, we were able to put together a plan and achieve surprising results, since we not only recovered the project, saving the company from the loss of other bids, millions of dollars, and the bankruptcy of the company, but we were also assigned parallel micro projects that generated unexpected profits.
MAINTENANCE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
November 1997 - April 2000
For 03 years I proactively managed, supervised and developed the maintenance applied to the electrical systems of power and control, communication and data acquisition of the operations in oil barges dedicated to the drilling and maintenance of wells in Lake Maracaibo, both for the company "Maersk Drilling Contractors Venezuela" and for "Schlumberger Sedco Forex", finalizing the achievement of contracts due to the change in the political, economic and social structure of Venezuela, widely recognized worldwide.
ENERGY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT
July 1986 - August 1997
Having successfully developed maintenance plans and projects for the Ricardo Zuloaga Thermoelectric Generation Plant of Electricidad de Caracas, where I began to develop my skills in the management of large projects and maintenance systems, planning, cost control, time, logistics and personnel, in 1987 I was called by the company CADAFE to be part of the Elite Group, formed by 60 high level professionals, in charge of controlling the National Electric System of Venezuela, for 10 years. A fundamental part of my activities was the efficient and effective application of Supervision, Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), for the management and control of hydro and thermoelectric generation, electric load flows in interconnected transmission networks up to 765 KV and maintenance operations in real time. In addition, handling the large amounts of variables involved in the process and their respective data, acquired through the SCADA system, I made calculations and short, medium and long term forecasts, which allowed me to make the most appropriate decisions, in order to ensure the provision of a high quality and reliable electric service for the entire country, which greatly benefited the image of the national electric company, and the satisfaction of its industrial, business, institutional and domestic customers in general.
